I am a highly motivated, dynamic and charismatic person. I work well in a team and have shown leadership capabilities in various roles in my youth. I am interested in socio-political and legal activism. As well as global affairs , particularly African political affairs. I am a fast learner and I adapt easily to change. I believe in motivating those around me and assisting in their progression. I have a background in Legal Studies. Currently I am in my final year of my BA in Political Leadership and Citizenship. I was integral in the founding of a branch of the Students for Law and Social Justice - Varsity College Pretoria branch; and chaired the branch from its inception through to the end of the requisite one year term . Holding the position of chairperson in the organization meant that I also sat on the National Committee of Chairpersons of SLSJ.I also participated in the the Varsity College Gauteng regional moot court competition in my first year of LLB at Varsity College and led it to victory. We henceforth represented all VC Gauteng branches at the national University of the Free State First Year Moot Court Competition in Bloemfontein.I have a keen interest in reading socio-economic and political commentary as well as legal commentary. I have a thoroughly critical mind and find purpose in problem solving.For leisure I enjoy reading African Literature . Exploring different and new genres of music. Traveling and experiencing the lived experiences of people from all over the world.I consider myself a global cosmopolitan citizen with a purpose of advocating change based on principles equality, dignity, peace and security and the dismantling of all oppressive structures of power.I wish to learn more in an organizational entity that is aligned with my skills as well as enhancing my academic capacity throughout my life and to one day be an esteemed social and political advocate that represents the interests of the person on the ground. I wish to write and speak for that person and to that person . It is my calling to advocate for those that cannot advocate for themselves or to motivate them into a position of self-determination, where they are well equipped to change their circumstances themselves and on their terms.All of the above is built on the solid foundational values and principles instilled in me by my family which has a long history of public service .
