As an indepdendent professional I have curated, given public talks, lectured, written articles, and been interviewed on national radio and in print. I continue to work on product design, interaction, identity and video projects both independently and collaboratively, locally and internationally. I can package an existing idea or visualize an entirely new one using a wide variety of media from video, highly communicative presentations and sketches, to 3-D models and renderings. I excel at visual storytelling and I can communicate anything.Have skills, will travel.

AUXILIARY was an award-winning educational consultancy that engaged emerging designers with industry and taught industrial design foundations and practices to new and experienced creatives.Studio and workshop based programs operated on a dual-stream of theory and practice. From a theory perspective, cadet were taught the latest techniques and tools associated with strategic design and new product innovation, based on a structured design process. From a practical perspective, the programme enhanced foundational skills in digital and analog visualisation, CAD, material sciences, prototyping and presentation techniques.

My time at Griffith University was spent as an adjunct faculty member teaching Concept Visualisation. The class focused on rigorous & repetitive analogue skills as a foundation for developing fast & effective visual communication techniques and overall confidence in sketching, concept development and artistic self expression.

MINIMAL is a multidisciplinary design firm located in Chicago, focusing on product, interaction and identity. With clients such as Microsoft, Steelcase, Dell, Nike, Herman Miller, Artimede, Moleskine and others, my role as a designer was product, experience, graphic, story and new media based (video production + editing) allowing me to work with both the best clients and colleagues in the industry.

As an Industrial Designer in Motorola's Consumer Experience Design division in Chicago I was responsible for concept and production level programs for both mobile phones and headsets. My primary role was as an Eco Design Lead where I had the opportunity to develop and maintain a relationship between Industrial Design and Motorola's Design for the Environment team, with a view to positively affect the overall attitude toward green design and manufacturing. My other roles included but were not limited to: Develop & communicate Eco Design goals between Industrial Design, Color Material Finish, User Interface & all CXD groups. Eco Design liaison for Go-To-Market teams (T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon). Creating Eco Design Principles to define ‘EcoMoto’ for internal & external education & branding. Presenting Eco Design projects, research and strategy at Innovation Conferences & several internal EcoMoto summits. In addition to this my Industrial Design duties allowed me to be involved in collaborative research projects (Brazil) several direct collaborations with clients such as Burton Snowboards and David Beckham, and various projects involving new media such as video production + editing.

As an Industrial Design intern in Motorola's Consumer Experience Design division in Chicago, my duties & projects were:Design support for full-time & senior design team, including form exploration, graphic design & CMF.Design Language development for current & future roadmaps.Defining product categories and evolution of RAZR & PEBL franchises. QWERTY productivity design for ’07 concept roadmap, including UI concepts & collaboration with Advanced Mechanical Design.Personal ‘Phone-In-A-Bag’ design project for 3rd world communication.
