As a Woods RD, I evaluate anthropometric, biochemical, clinical, and dietary history to assess residents’ nutritional status. I also prepare and implement individualized dietary care plans based on nutritional needs, dietary restrictions, and resident’s clinical conditions. I monitor resident’s progress and make appropriate modifications to their diet plans. I am responsible for monitoring monthly weights and I teach a weekly diet class, creating customized menus using NutriKids for Prader-Will clients. I am also a kitchen supervisor in Food and Nutrition building.
