I shall be coordinating existing and new projects that the EWB have for the hear 2023 in which I shall be a committee member for the society.

I was a hydraulics team leader for one of the EWB UCT projects which was called the Isondlo Garden project, during this period myself and my team had to design a hydraulic system for the garden as well as put together bill of quantities.

I was a member of the Engineering without boarders subcommittee in which my role was that of event planning and co-ordination. As a subcommittee we would plan and execute events on behalf of the society.

Graduate Structural Engineer

During the duration of work, I had been allocated 3 local municipalities in which I was tasked with the assessment of bridge conditions. Through the use of Google Earth engine, I had to identify all bridges in my allocated local municipalities and identify and note their conditions, I also needed to exercise Engineering judgement in recommending places which would need new bridges to be built such that safety of residents is ensured, and that social inclusion is achieved. I had to use the information to complie reports, data spreadsheet, and recommendations to be used by the municipalities.
