My experience spans 20+ years(within construction-civil,concrete,earthworks,roads,asphalt and concrete plants) in various positions including,Quality/Process Controller,Quality Assurance Supervisor, Assistant Laboratory Manager and SHEQ Manager.Summary of responsibilities included; systems documents development, implementation and monitoring, internal auditing and reporting,people management,Developing Procedures and policies.Review Contractors QCP’s.Overseeing document/Records/Drawings control and Archives.Review and update manuals, procedures and all other SHEQ documents. Development of H & S Plans and monitoring compliance thereto, Aligning company policies and operations to legislative regulations (OHSAct and MHSA),and other standards (ISO9001,14001), Risk Assessments, Incident Investigations,Sheq Statistics,Customer Complaints,advice management with matters relating to SHEQ,Legal appointments, employee inductions and medical examinations.Review contractors SHEQ documentation and provide input for approval,Inspections, Attend Project executive Health & safety & Quality meetings. Laboratory management (Asphalt, Concrete, Grout and Soils), and make provision for external training of personnel, conduct internal training and performance evaluation. Coordinate and follow up on NCR’s, CAR’s.
