Complies with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved ISO 62304 software development standards. Ensures maintaining scheduled delivery with preventive measures. Oversees the activities of 45 people.Major Achievements: • Overcame project underperformance that included schedule slips and non-working hardware and software systems and reclaimed the OEM client’s confidence by redeveloping the software teams, managing the software release plan, and participating in the project organization restructuring, as well as changing the software development methodology with the introduction of the Agile software development method. Split teams into 6 SCRUM teams.• Facilitated on time team delivery and software quality improvement by launching a continuous integration process.• Established a new software development roadmap under strict project time constraints that kept the team on schedule, improved software stability and reliability, and delivered all features in alignment with the development plan.• Improved software configuration management, as well as code and software architecture quality monitoring.

Managed Tecan’s partnering business branch Key Accounts research and development (R&D) software projects. Allocated 40-50 Skill-Group resources, and coordinated contractors’ search and recruitment. Partnered in new project concept definitions, as well as new project acquisitions. Established a Skill-Group skill matrix, and coordinated team training and education to optimize their skill set. Created a “preferred contractors” database. Employed systems engineering skills in collaborating with other skill-groups to define the overall components architecture and interface. Managed the skill-group’s Tools & Methods selection. Rolled out a software code quality monitoring tool. Introduced a method to detect and manage licenses of Open Source Code.Major Achievements: • Played a key role during the acquisition process of Tecan’s largest project to date.• Gained a good knowledge of Tecan’s products and fields of activity: Biopharma, clinical and diagnostics, and developed a strong strategic vision for their software products.

Drove the development of several products for the Biopharma and Clinical Diagnostics markets.
