At Persistence Plus, an organization that leverages behavioral science for student success, I develop partnerships with colleges, nonprofits and employers to increase college completion and equity.

I designed and led implementation for programs that put East Oakland's young people on the path to college graduation and family-sustaining careers.

Jobs for the Future is a national policy organization that creates pathways for low-income Americans to move into family-sustaining careers. At JFF, I worked to grow school models that bridge the divide between high school and college, helping underserved young people get onto postsecondary pathways and graduate.

Fordham Fellows was a four-month policy fellowship to connect young educators passionate about school reform to the policy world. At Education Sector, I researched emerging models of assessment that measure complex thinking skills.

I prepared Boston students at Match Charter Public High School for college success through an intensive tutoring program. To support and grow Match's AP-for-all initiative, I served as teaching assistant for AP United States History.Following my yearlong fellowship at Match, I started and led a program that employs Match juniors and seniors to tutor elementary school students in math. Most recently, I advised and documented the efforts of Match staff to support alumni to college completion.

I covered K-12 and higher education, focusing on accountability, school finance, and how the school system adapted in response to Utica's quickly growing immigrant population.
