As head of the children's books team, I work to promote our brand and motivate the teams towards the development of new projects.EX NIHILO CREATION OF THE “P'TIT GLÉNAT” LABEL: In a strategy of diversification of our publications, I create the first real children’s books catalog outside comics. With more than 300 titles to its credit as well as several distinctions, this department now counts a team of 4 people and welcomes a pool of first-rate authors / illustrators.INITIATION OF PARTNERSHIPS WITH MAJOR ACTORS OF CULTURAL HERITAGE: I build solid partnership relationships with several cultural and museum institutions.I thus inaugurate a line of prestigious coloring books with in particular the Yves Saint Laurent Foundation, Castelbajac, the Cocteau Committee, Films de mon Oncle, Fatras-succession Jacques Prévert… These publications are very successful in bookstores as well as internationally, where they are the subject of numerous rights deals.STUDIO DIRECTION OF ACTORS: As part of our CD-book publications, I negotiate with artists' agents the fees of their performers as well as contracts for the transfer of rights to use their voices. In concert with the sound engineer, I orchestrate the recording sessions in the studio with personalities from the cultural and artistic scene such as Sophie Marceau, Pierre Arditi, Audrey Fleurot or Marlène Jobert.

INITIATE A PARTNERSHIP WITH STUDIO GHIBLI: Discovering the international success of the animated film "Le Voyage de Chihiro" by Hayao Miyazaki, I contact Studio Ghibli in Japan and negotiate the premiere of adaptation rights for France.The quality of my relationship with this exceptional Japanese partner, as well as the excellent level of sales of the ensuing publications, allow me to extend the collaboration with the signing of other license contracts.Milan thus becomes the first French children’s books publisher of the famous Japanese Studio and one of its privileged interlocutors in Europe.SPOTTING NUGGETS: I deal with a British publisher the acquisition of French rights for "Dragonology, the encyclopedia of dragons", the first in a series of animated activity books that have a lasting hold on sales. An incredible international editorial phenomenon, these documentary facsimiles are among the essentials in the Milan list.EDIT LIGHTHOUSE PROJECTS: I am the children’s books editor of several works drawn from the universe of "Kirikou and the witch", little gem of animation and masterpiece by French film director Michel Ocelot.

I am responsible for the editorial follow-up and production of several fiction collections in pocket format, including the cult series "Goosebumps", by R. L. Stine.

This Swiss-German publishing house gives me the opportunity to discover the editorial chain and to follow proofs in both French and German.
