My responsibilities included being attentive while watching children and adults swim at a small lake. Being CPR and AED certified I was expected to give everyone the help I was trained to give. While watching the water I was expected to be able to respond quickly to an emergency whether it was in the water or on the beach. Keeping the community safe was the biggest goal of the job.
