I started Wild East Strategies because I love helping people work well together to achieve shared goals.I am a multilingual program and campaign manager with 20+ years of experience developing and implementing strategies in the public policy, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors that center partner knowledge and recommendations. Over 14 years at The Pew Charitable Trusts, I managed an evolving portfolio of 25+ grantees and contractors to maximize Pew's investment in advancing environmental policy, advocacy, and civic life.I am a leader, change maker, and problem solver with strong analytical skills to measure the impacts of science-based policies on human and natural systems for data-driven decision making. I have a proven track record of building trust and working productively with partners and stakeholders, navigating complex policy landscapes and relationships, and finding innovative solutions by focusing on shared priorities.I am also a suicide widow and sole caregiver for a family of 3 with 10+ years lived experience navigating U.S. healthcare, Social Security, and Medicaid systems with deep empathy for target populations of social service and caregiving strategies. I know firsthand how unpaid care work can be a barrier to economic power. I have also seen the creativity, perseverance, and energy that solo parents, especially moms, bring to our work and communities that enhance our value as thought leaders and team players.
