Director
Managing Director
I have been a non-executive director of the business since it's inception in 2021. As pressure continues on NHS General Practice there is an increasing demand for private GPs. I led the practice as it expanded into new services and operational areas. This interim role involves all the classical business expansion activities with a strong emphasis on people development, service offering expansion and regulatory compliance. Operationally the business also needs reinforcing in the disciplines of finance, marketing, strategy, customer service and operations. The business enjoys fantastic customer feedback and the essence of providing a people driven, patient centric service is something I am really pleased to have as the foundations of this exciting venture.
Uk Country Manager
I was recruited to create and lead TVM UK Animal Health (the veterinary channel brand of Domes Pharma) and launch Domes Pharma into the UK animal health market. This was the first overseas subsidiary for the group and presented them with all the challenges that come with internationalisation. Over a 6 year period the UK team grew to 28 people, launched multiple products to become a top 20 player and the undisputed market leader in toxicology. The role challenged all aspects of my skills and experience to date. I hugely enjoyed balancing the creativity and chaos of new venture creation with the financial and regulatory discipline needed in this highly regulated sector. Simultaneously I also worked with some amazing colleagues all across Domes Pharma breaking down the cultural, geographical and language barriers all international companies experience Recruiting and motivating people was a large part of the role. I made it my mission to create the conditions for them to have the opportunity to excel and, as we grew I was constantly thinking how to put them in positions that played to their strengths. Trusting and empowering the people who worked at the front line of all areas of the business was a key success factor for the business. My biggest satisfaction was creating a safe, "learn to fail fast and move on" approach and seeing people enjoying their roles and growing with the business.
