Company, team, and product management: Provide overall direction and guidance to the operational activities of the organization, as well as day-to-day leadership.Company strategy: Facilitate and participate in strategy discussions for intricate waste-to-energy projects, develop structured plans, timelines and directives for the team, and manage accountability for tasks and outcomes. Human Resources: Recruit talented individuals and ensure that existing team members are in a work environment beneficial to their strengths and workflow optimization.Company Presentations: Deliver PowerPoint presentations to large groups all over the world such as the U.S. Department of Defense and the Presidential Offices of Uruguay about our technology background and project development. Data Analysis: Research and compile detailed data sets with various components, and simulate real world application. Conduct techno-economic comparisons for initial selection of equipment for future projects. Compile and post-process (removing anomalies, selecting ranges for statistical analysis) data obtained from pilot plant operations.Project Development and Civil Engineering: Develop project financing, timelines, and critical path analyses. Work with specialized consultants to pool design resources. Perform land development engineering, utility design and cost estimates.Work with agencies to obtain permits such as air quality and state level environmental assessments.Company Government Objectives: Direct the company's policy consultants for integration and cooperation with federal, state, and local governments seeking to make a legislative environment conducive to waste-to-energy gasification projects.Technical Writing: Seek out and develop responses to grant and contract funding opportunities with agencies such as the California Energy Commission, U.S. Department of Defense, and Pacific Gas and Electric. $9M in grants awarded.

This position was mainly focused on Transporation Engineering, but like most engineering projects, spanned into the realms of Water and Environmental Engineering. Roadway Design: storm drainage, traffic striping, ADA compliance, utility restructure. Transportation Policy Engineering: County-wide pavement management systems for budgetary analysis. Environmental Engineering: creek bank slope repairs, creek rehabilitation

Managing a group of 80 women to maintain a safe and functioning organization is no easy task. My focuses were on philanthropy, scholarship, risk management, recruitment, and event planning. I spent previous years in the organization leading recruitment and risk management.
