Perform land development engineering, utility design and cost estimates.Work with agencies to obtain permits such as air quality and state level environmental assessments.Company Government Objectives: Direct the company's policy consultants for integration and cooperation with federal, state, and local governments seeking to make a legislative environment conducive to waste-to-energy gasification projects.Technical Writing: Seek out and develop responses to grant and contract funding opportunities with agencies such as the California Energy Commission, U.S. Department of Defense, and Pacific Gas and Electric. $9M in grants awarded.

This position was mainly focused on Transporation Engineering, but like most engineering projects, spanned into the realms of Water and Environmental Engineering.
