I like to work in a interdiscilinary and group-based environment, but I am perfectly able to operate independently with great commitment and initiative.During my studies and experimental work I have focused on different aspects regarding the Microbiology, Plant Biotechnology and Virology areas. These range from the design of genome editing techniques (CRISPR/Cas9) for crop breeding purposes, the study of the protein factors involved in enterovirus replication by using advance immunofluorescence microscopy to the study of bioremediation processes in marine bacteria. My dedication and ambitions are particular targeted towards contributing to the study of those biological systems that can contribute to face the emerging global challenges. My multidisciplinar profile focuses on various aspects of the Molecular and Cellular Biology fields. Therefore, my desired job would allow me to interconnect and further develop my knowledge and expertise while addressing environmental and marine reaserch topics.
