Edward is the SVP of Telecom , a leading Telecom provider, focusing on the telecommunications in Europe for the corporate and enterprise markets. Prior to assuming the SVP role, Edward was the Senior Vice President for Americas at Global Crossing / Level 3 Communications in which he grew the broadband and wholesale solutions by 4.X in the US and Latam markets.Prior to Level 3 he was a Director of Corporate Business Development with Saudi Telecom focusing on strategic investments, acquisitions, and partnerships in the mobile payments and mobile banking industry as well as digital media and location-based services sectors. Under his leadership, Saudi Telecom and invested in Software developments, a NFC solutions provider; Billing Revolution, a “single click” mobile commerce enabler; and in Mobile Money Solutions, a mobile banking joint venture with Citibank. Utilizing these assets, he led a consortium of partners in the bid for the 3rd largest US transit system conversion to contactless payments. Prior to joinin to Saudi Telecom Edward led the business development and marketing roles for Time Warner Cable Services, he led the division’s growth strategy to include three product launches on two continents and the creation of a leading application developer program with customers such as Verizon, Sprint, and Vodafone; which combined resulted in 3.5X revenue growth in his tenure. He previously owned a market development consulting group, Luxter Consulting, advising both Fortune 500 and early stage companies in capturing new growth opportunities in emerging markets and co-founded an Internet startup in the late 90’s. Edward holds an MBA from NYU Stern and BA from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid and a Certificate of Distinction in Telecommunications and Network Engineering from UC Berkeley and has lived and worked in multiple countries.
