In my role with SEA Change, I work within the robust Social Enterprise ecosystem to build and grow a social enterprise accelerator program. We work to help social entrepreneurs everywhere with our Signature Cohort, online programming, and affiliate partnerships.

Current: - The Socially Just City within the Knowlton College of Architecture (starting with SP17 - every semester since)- Knowlton students will engage in thoughtful dialogue about the history and current conditions within our urban core, through the lens of justice.- Race, culture, food, housing, medical/health/wellness, and many other topics will be discussed.- Many local experts will facilitate conversations on specific topics. Prior:- 12 week course in Tactical Urbanism within the Knowlton College of Architecture. - In this workshop Knowlton students will lead a team of youth (14-16) and act as community engagement consultants as they participate in a visioning process and consequential Tactical Urbanism project. The projects will take place in the Near East Side neighborhood of Columbus, and will demonstrate the youths’ vision to change the perception of a specific place. - Working with Partners Achieving Community Transformation (PACT) and the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), Knowlton students will lead a team of youth, working closely with their college-aged counselor, to generate and support the planning and implementation of the projects.

Local Matters is a non-profit that works to educate people about their food choices. Teaching over 14,000 individuals annually that healthful food can be delicious, easy, quick, and affordable utilizing 4 core programs. Each of these programs touch on culinary, nutrition, and/or gardening skills. I directly ran two of the programs and oversaw the other two. - Was responsible for the development, planning, and day-to-day logistics of our core programs- Led the effort to bring Cooking Matters, a national program run by Share Our Strength (Washington D.C. non-profit), to Columbus- Created and implemented a successful Social Enterprise business within the umbrella of the non-profit (Wellness Matters)- Created and sustained partnerships and strong relationships with community organizations- Oversaw programmatic documentation overhaul and organization- Utilized data to troubleshoot/analyze/diagnose the Social Enterprise as well as three other Community Programs - Was responsible for sales and education for the Wellness Matters Program- Implemented a programmatic and individual work plan process, allowing for goal setting and measurement of success- Educated individuals on the ease, taste, and affordability of healthful food- Managed a full team of staff and support staff, totaling 18 individuals

- Took complex technical information and created and presented easy to digest summary reports to high-level executives- Responsible for reporting and analytics of operations supporting Individual Life and Annuity product lines- Responsibilities included planning/forecasting, budgeting, KPI/scorecard measurement, performance and productivity measurement- Responsible for building and supporting business solutions in MS Access/Excel, complex data sourcing and governance efforts- Responsible for planning/forecasting, budgeting, KPI/scorecard measurement, performance and productivity measurement- Project Leader/Business Delivery for technical projects- Created and implemented a training plan to train all certified Life Insurance Agents on a complex new online tool; iPipeline; used to submit online insurance applications. - Managed projects and served as a liaison between internal team, government authorities, and Fortune 500 companies to obtain non-discretionary permits and entitlements for big box, retail, petroleum, restaurant, and grocery clients- Managed workload of 50-150 projects and several separate project teams concurrently- Presented client proposals for new development at public hearings and meetings- Facilitated communication among multi-disciplinary team of architects, engineers, and jurisdictions and mediated inconsistencies- Reviewed project design plans for accuracy according to local zoning and other regulations
