Lee is an art educator and teacher's assistant at a vibrant Montessori school serving children ages two to twelve. Her art program is in accordance with the Montessori philosophy of education, which is similar to the principles of art therapy. She is active in supporting lead teachers with behavior management and problem-solving techniques. Some of her additional responsibilities include organizing student art exhibits; planning and executing several culturally diverse field trips per year; building relationships with the parent community and performing administrative tasks.

During her summer contract with UpCycle, Lee developed a new art program for adults which consisted of workshops designed for creative expression. She also facilitated "Art Materials Playgroups" which is a program created by UpCycle based on the Reggio-Emilia approach to learning, wherein toddlers have the opportunity to experiment with different art mediums at their own pace.

As a recent graduate, Lee created a new art therapy program designed to meet the needs of students with emotional, learning and behavioral problems, at a special education facility. Her general responsibilities were as follows: provided weekly art therapy groups, individual counseling services and assessments; created and implemented individual education plans for a clinical caseload of 30 students; supervised and mentored two George Washington University Art Therapy interns; and acted as primary clinical therapist for 6 students.

As a second-year graduate intern, Lee created and implemented a new art therapy program on an adult oncology and infusion unit located at Georgetown University Hospital. She established therapeutic relationships with chemotherapy patients who were not seeking to work with a therapist. She provided a safe environment for patients to explore feelings while receiving chemotherapy treatment in an open setting; educated patients and medical staff about art therapy and conducted art therapy groups for family members and caregivers.
