As a subject matter expert/runway slot coordinator for Meehan Research Group Inc., I work to administer the national landing and take-off runway slot program at high density airports in support of the Federal Aviation Administration. Meehan Research Group analysts work directly with partners at the Federal Aviation Administration headquarters to effectively manage landing slots at the nation's most congested airports. I personally communicate with airlines from around the world to coordinate available runway slots at slot controlled airports. In my role, I am responsible for briefing high level US government officials on policy options, reviewing/writing regulatory text, and providing statutory technical drafting assistance to Congress. Additionally, I am responsible for managing and maintaining US government relationships with more than 100 airlines. I have served on international aviation policy committees and have been involved in numerous aviation industry mergers, route launches, and alliance partnerships. In the course of my duties, I interact extensively with airports and terminal operators to ensure a healthy and lasting relationship with the FAA.

Supported CBS News for both nightly news and major national events (e.g. Presidential travel, 2014 Inauguration, NFIB v. Sebelius Supreme Court ruling). Logistical support on the set of “The CBS Evening News”, “60 Minutes”, and “Face the Nation”. Coordinated various aspects of broadcast production including production equipment and transportation of on screen talent and technical crews. Helped problem solve when logistical issues occurred.

Selected for one of the two Mayor’s office internships charged with implementing Philadelphia’s comprehensive anti-­poverty initiative. Researched the efficacy of free meal providers, public benefits centers, mental health services, and poverty reduction programs in the City. Directed an outreach and networking program with free meal providers in the City to determine gaps in existing services. Wrote policy memos and best practice briefs to help city officials with implementation of key aspects of the anti­‐poverty plan, including building new meal centers, improving financial literacy and helping citizens get access to the help they need and deserve.

Helped plan new public transportation services by completing safety and efficiency analyses. Interacted with citizens and helped optimize Alexandria’s transit system. Helped determine safe and efficient new transit services. Worked in the planning department on issues of city development and public transportation expansion, such as Bus Rapid Transit (“BRT”) and express bus service.
