CurrentI have studied from a conventional medicine model as well as a holistic approach to help individuals achieve their optimal level of wellness and vibrant health. I work personally with individuals and groups assisting them in designing a plan to move them towards their desired behaviors, emphasizing nutritional instruction, mindfulness, lifestyle changes, and other health strategies. I am familiar with a large variety of diet theories and utilize change theory and motivational interviewing to assist clients in identifying their strengths and goals and improving their sense of self-efficacy and autonomy. My past experience with curriculum development has allowed me to create a variety of on-line tools to assist with health education, weight management, and behavior change. My 1:1 coaching emphasizes empowerment, personal growth and the discovery of blocks to move clients forward incorporating techniques tailored to their preferred learning style.
