Covering full classes whilst teachers complete their PPA, I plan sessions and deliver the computing curriculum throughout the school, from Reception to Year 6. In addition to computing, I also deliver lessons in English, Maths and the foundation subjects. Additionally, I have trained staff in the use of Class Dojo, Microsoft Teams and Clicker 8. Due to my training, Class Dojo is now used to distribute and assess homework. In this role, I ensured that the school's Apple products were used to their full potential. I changed and adapted our long term plan to ensure that pupils experienced a range of apps on both iPads and iMacs. I used the Lego Movie 2 app with Years 3 and 4; the children used the app to create a Lego-based stop motion animation movie. Years 5 and 6 created scripts using Pages. They recorded a green-screen movie using DoInk, before editing the recording in iMovie.

I provided technical support to both staff and pupils at Ribbon Academy, the largest Primary School in Co. Durham. I managed the school’s network, maintaining both hardware and software. I managed two servers (Windows Server 2012 R2), around 50 desktop PCs, 35 laptops, 15 iMacs and 100 iPads. I have experience using Active Directory and Group Policy. I also used a MDM solution (Lightspeed) to manage our network of iPads. I ensured the school's website is compliant with Department for Education requirements. I have experience of web filtering through Smoothwall. I set up the school's domain for Google GSuite for Education, whilst also setting up Chromebooks in the process. I also supported the delivery of the Computing Curriculum throughout the school; I regularly taught programming to children from the ages of 5-11.

I travelled around different Trust sites upgrading the mobile phones of various members of staff. I explained and demonstrated the new phone to the user, talking them through key features in a user friendly manner. I provided a first point of contact for any technical issues with the phone. I created guides to ensure that the end-user got the most out of their new mobile phone.

Taking part in the Camp America programme, I was employed to teach computer programming daily to children aged from 7 to 16. I planned a scheme of work which looked at the fundamentals of the Scratch programming language, and allowed the children to create their own animations and games. In addition, I was responsible for the welfare of a group of 10-year-old boys for the duration of their stay at camp. I also ran a variety of other activities including football, hockey and archery.

My main duties involved providing technical support to both staff & children, assisting in Computing lessons and running an after school Code Club. I also set up an MDM solution for the school's iPads and created a new website for the school using WordPress. I used RM CC4, Active Directory and Group Policy. I also worked as a Teaching Assistant in a Year 4 class. Under the guidance of the class teacher, I worked with small groups, individuals on a 1-to-1 basis and the full class.
