In October 2024 I was promoted to Senior Academy Lead at Gaydio. This means that I am undertaking the duties of my previous role but with more of a head-of-department role. Overall this sees me:- Looking after Gaydio Brighton presenters to make sure that the output of the station falls within OFCOM compliance and making sure I am training them regularly on their shows and new procedures- Being part of the music scheduling team which involves suggesting new tracks to be playlisted and then scheduling this music in G-Selector across 3 different stations- On-air presenting- Supporting volunteers and project participants across the business. This includes responsibility for overseeing, supporting, training and managing our volunteers on the Brighton show. - Planning the delivery of all incoming Gaydio Academy Projects, ensuring they are fully resourced. This includes planning and agreeing on a time plan for each of the projects, ensuring they can be resourced. - Delivery of project work and training as part of Gaydio Academy which includes: - Planning – scheduling delivery time, finding and booking accommodation for delivery and developing the content and materials. Where necessary, contracting any freelancers to support the programme - Recruiting – making sure that we achieve the number and demographic required in the grant or commercial agreement - Delivering – Hosting the workshops or activities, ensuring they are delivered in a safe and professional way. Also following up on any post-activities, such as introducing participants to our volunteering programme. - Evaluation - This includes collecting and evaluating data for reporting back to funders, alongside the Grants Manager. - Coordination with our bid writer to ensure that programmes are deliverable- Coordination with the programming team to ensure that Academy programmes are reflected in our radio output, this may include activities such as support with commercial and production where appropriate
