Reporting directly to the Programmes Director, I am responsible for reviewing customer order-contracts and their assimilation into the business MRP system, issue-control for components & assemblies, the creation of works-orders, ensuring internal & customer changes are applied correctly and resolving MRP/ERP anomalies.* Contract review & sales order processing:Translation & implementation of customers’ order-contracts into business’s MRP system;Aligning customer expectations with company logistics to create a Sales Order, ensuring customer changes are circulated to relevant departments and incorporated into product builds.* Technical administrative processing of assemblies for manufacture, ensuring correct revision control, of individual components, assemblies, in-service-support (repairs), warranty-return and internal-manufacturing items (e.g. tooling).* Scheduling of manufactured items’ delivery dates to meet expectations of customer requirements in line with the company’s master schedule; stock checking and assessing manufacturing lead times.* Create/up-issue of internal & customer part-numbers, product parts-lists and assemblies’ manufacturing process routes in Javelin MRP/ERP system.* Generate, approve & release Works-Orders for production build and create hard-copy drawing packs.* Check inventory stock levels and [physically & electronically] allocate material to Works-Orders.* Incorporate Investigation Reports, Non-Conformance Reports & Engineering Change Records [electronically & physically] into manufactured items’ parts-lists, process routes and Works-Orders.* Oversee MRP (Materials Resource Planning) program process run; investigate & resolve production-staff SFDC (Shop Floor Data Capture) booking errors (manufacturing times and materials).* Create C-of-C's (Certificate of Conformity) and process customer invoices.* Auditing of company’s internal Quality systems, processes and procedures.

(4-month contract)Liaise with external suppliers; expedite sub-contract materials & sub-assemblies. Check inventory stock levels and allocate material to jobs. Approve & release jobs in MRP system (Aventa) for production build and create hard-copy drawing packs.* Create part-numbers, product parts-lists and routings on Aventa MRP system in preparation for production.

Work with internal departments and external customers to generate Drawing Packs of information in a timely and efficient manner to manufacture assemblies to precise customer specification.* Approve product batches for production in accordance with the schedule; ensuring outstanding changes have been applied.* Transpose customer parts-lists into Hansatech format BoM's (Bill of Materials) and create & edit process-flow charts, operations, sub-BoM's, editing of drawings (using Cam350), etc.* Adhere to ISO9001 compliance by ensuring audit trail of events, product updates and changes.* Apply Drawing Pack updates; cross-checking customer parts-lists, utilising MS Excel formulas.* Control the Parts Master File database (Epicor); product lifecycle management system.* Manage the Engineering Change Note database (SharePoint) and test-equipment Calibration Database.* Control & maintain the programmed-parts verified firmware files and the Machine Programs folder, liaising with the Quality, Engineering, Purchasing and Production departments.

Supervision of set-up team: provide offline machine feeder serviceability-checking, maintenance & preparation service to ensure rapid machine product set-up (SMED System).* Compare & verify machine programs contain correct component data using Cad2Cad.* Check machine/process set-up, perform reel-checks and verify machine lines ready for product build.* Produce accurate and comprehensive documentation packs in readiness for machine line configuration.* Expedite process tooling and component kits from Stores; resolve component shortage queries prior to build.

Maintain high standards of product quality, whilst ensuring production targets are met. * Monitor production flow-rate and throughput, materials & resources.* Inspection of PCB assemblies to IPC-610 standard.* Sample-audit of product and resolve any problems that occur.* Oversee staff discipline and sustain performance levels.* Review shift output information, query anomalies & complete daily log for handover to next shift.
