What do you need to know about me? I love people. I love encouraging and empowering others in and out of the office in an effort to help them succeed. Mahatma Gandhi's quote, "You must be the change you wish to see in the world" has become my life motto. If I can help brighten someone's day even just by a simple smile or hello to hopefully inspire others to do the same, I am actively living out that motto.In addition to helping others, I work tirelessly to ensure I am doing the best of my ability, but I am also constantly auditing my own work to see how I can perform my processes more efficiently and in more of a six-sigma manner. You see, efficiency saves time and money; plus, it's [often] easy to duplicate. Efficiency is a mutually beneficial thing, wouldn't you agree? On top of that, I believe strongly and have proven throughout my work history that I can learn just about anything, and quickly too.Since graduating with my MBA, I've had a wide variety of experience in both the public and private sectors. I have the ability to work with diverse groups of people, and have helped create community within those groups by utilizing intercultural communication techniques (my passion). I've had the opportunity to travel the world (particularly Asia) where I have been able to experience, first-hand, cultures and communication styles. Each of us are so unique in our own way that it's important to understand how culture and communication styles may affect our interactions with one another - this understanding can help lead to positive communication experiences for all parties.
