About Lee Binney
After initially serving an apprenticeship as a Caulker/Burner in the shipbuilding industry I have since spent the last 20 years working both onshore and offshore in the oil and gas industry as a Store man then Materials Controller. During this time I have gained valuable experience in all aspects of material control, from receipt, safe storage through to allocation and final dispatch. In dealing with the day to day receipts and issue of materials required for construction, one of the key skills required is the ability to accurately read and understand isometric drawings or job cards, and allocate materials accordingly .
