I am a perfectionist in all that I set out to do, this has been demonstrated in my work ethic, my accomplishments to date and within my own personal life, always aspiring to achieve goals and make the most of my God given talents.I started out as an 'aged' apprentice as I discovered that my chosen field of sport at the time was not going to pay the bills; however, I was fortunate enough to travel the world competing at an international level. My years in sport taught me diligence and to remain humble, it cost me a lot but what I gained in return you cannot put a price tag on as I feel it has added to all facets of my life. My first year as an apprentice I was nominated 'Apprentice of the Year' and whilst I did not take the title that year due to my short tenure in the profession at the time, I was still deemed a worthy contender and they came up with an alternative to celebrate my achievements and I was awarded 'Outstanding Apprentice of the Year', the following year I won 'Apprentice of the Year'. My final year in TAFE I took it upon myself to complete my Cert IV rather than finish with a Cert III. I am a natural sense maker and as such I would always break things down in layman's terms to other students who were struggling, I have passion for learning and I share the knowledge that I acquire as knowledge may well be power, but it is worth nothing if not shared. I made the transition from apprentice, at placements through the city of Perth with some of the top ASX listed clients, to technician and now I've taken on 'Chillers' - Always wanting to learn more, and do more. I pride myself on my work ethic and how I portray myself in the field as I have a reputation to protect and a company brand who's name I carry on my uniform. Life is more than 'just a job' and as such I always try to do more for the community and giving back to society, raising awareness for issues such as mental health and well-being etc. This is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart, taking part in events such as the 'Push-Up Challenge' and 'Movember'. This year I became the proud father to a Baby Girl 'Ruby', who is the most precious gift my wife and I could ever have wished for, she gives me the will to strive harder and achieve more, to grow with her and teach her valuable life lessons and also to learn from her as we go.
