I was responsible for budgeting & implementing the 2.3m divisional Capital and Major Revenue investment plans as well as overseeing the homes maintenance budgets.I worked very closely with our design team as a technical advisor to our head design manager on many specification since joining Barchester.I oversaw electrical standards within Barchester as a qualified electrical engineer working with our national fixed wiring specialist to assure we adhere to all current regulations.I have assisted the development team in building 7 new care homes within my division and overseen the defect process for all.I have experience with council development teams as well as preservation officers, and a good knowledge of CDM, CAD, FRA, DDA, HTM, HBN.I’ve overseen and manage all FM service providers, monitored performance of local and national contracts with KPIs and SLA’s, I’ve ran multiple tenders and developed scoping documents for all minor and major projects and worked closely with our QS and frameworks contractors.Prior to Barchester I have 10 years experience in high end Hotel Facilities Management.
