This job involved heading to various sites within the pharmaceutical, chemical, food and drink industries across the UK and Europe. Assembling mechanical products, mechanical seals and drive systems and maintaining these to a high standard.Repairing and modifying mechanical assemblies e.g. pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Checking that completed assemblies comply with specification.Dealing promptly and effectively with problems within my control and report those that cannot be solved.Complying with Health and Safety, Control of Substances Hazard to Health (COSHH) and Good manufacturing practices (GMP) policies.Completing detailed reports on work carried out including preventative maintenance documents. Writing method statement and risk assessments. Completing plant improvements in a safe and timely manner. Carrying out visual inspections of process equipment within the plant, showing an awareness of condition monitoring.
