Managing all aspects of a busy night despatch operation with 24/7 accountability, I've successfullyunified two shifts and standardised performance. Currently the only FLM with this level of responsibilityI've played a key role in expanding the night shift operation.* Successfully deputised for the departmental head, and demonstrated skill in planning and reportingvolume adjusted labour.* I was chosen to represent Orpington and Allied Bakeries nationally to publish a day in the life article for“Bread Lines” the company publication.* I've both assisted in and developed key activity's which have helped to establish and maintain our worldclass service level.

Responsible for managing a busy despatch operation to complete the picking cycle, and load out 50plus routes. I played a key role in improving productivity and driving down costs while maintaining worldclass service levels.* I set the bench mark for performance improvements, and developed my own PDP initiatives* Developed a multi skilled team consisting of all types of persons, coaching them to better standards ofworking practise.

Responsible for managing a food manufacturing factory making bread and bun products, I improvedthe standards and productivity of three bread plants producing 1.6m loaves, and a bun plant producing3m buns and rolls per week* I developed many improvement initiatives delivering cost savings as well as being instrumental indeveloping the plan to move form 52 hours a week to 42 in line with European legislation.

Responsible for managing initially one and then two bread plants in a busy food manufacturing factory, Iled the way and drove performance and standards through effective team leadership.* I was the only SPC to have responsibility for two bread plants at that time and helped pilot the FLMinitiative at site level, before successfully applying for the role myself.

ACHIEVEMENTS HEALTH AND SAFETY* Demonstrated Health and Safety awareness throughout.* Developed safe system of work governing FLT/Pedestrian movements in the warehouse.* Converted Safe systems of work to DVD improving communication.* Developed and conducted behavioural audits.* Helped to build safety first culture using cross departmental accompanied auditing* Successfully completed IOSH online FINANCIAL* PDP's Successfully implemented KPI reporting tool reducing labour through productivity incrementsdelivering £55k per annum successfully developed new CCO procedure reducing clean down times by 35% saving £22kper annum Developed and implemented new waste disposal process eliminating removal costs, andreducing waste by 1.5% delivering a combined 38k per annum MANAGEMENT* Successfully assumed total control of the night operation with 24/7 accountability This was re-structured through training and investment in people. The night operation was elevated to a consistent high standard, with complete confidence,self sufficiency, and clear progression paths.* Assisted in the development of a brand new warehouse stock taking system. Use of the PDCA system to clearly structure, apply, and adopt the process. The process significantly reduced waste due to poor rotation (120k per annum), and drovedown unaccounted.* Designed and executed a CI training package for best practise in two key areas of the operation Produced a project charter to manage and deliver the training criteria, delivered the off shifttraining to both shifts over two days using Powerpoint The training days were very well received by the team, and we produced best practicedocuments for both areas which continue to deliver improvements in service and quality.
