Lee focuses on sophisticated trusts and estates matters and business succession planning for high-net-worth individuals and business entities. In addition to his responsibilities as the firm’s managing partner, Lee heads the firm's family office and money management division. He provides a unique service to wealthy clients, who benefit from receiving both legal as well as financial advice in managing their affairs. Lee’s practice includes reviewing client investments, attending to the legalities of employing a household staff, managing day-to-day expenses for busy celebrities, preparing income tax returns – or reviewing returns prepared by accountants -- for individuals and business entities.Skilled in corporate law, Lee provides tax advice and assists in structuring a wide range of complex tax, financial and business transactions, including the buying and selling of businesses, and the creation of partnership, shareholder, limited liability company and other business agreements, as well as deferred compensation and pension plans.Lee is well known in the charitable giving field, where he assists both donors and charitable organizations in the area of charitable contributions. He provides counsel to, and is a director and officer of, a number of charitable organizations, including private foundations, whose grants have greatly benefited various hospitals, educational institutions, religious organizations and the arts.
