Mechanical Qc
Working for WorleyParsonsCord, I started with this group a long time ago and I have been fortunate enough to grow through training and the experience gained in both field and yard settings. Through management and coworkers I've gained knowledge that I wouldn't have gotten by sitting in a classroom and I'm truly grateful. I enjoy working with new up and coming individuals with a thirst for knowledge and a drive to do their best. It's satisfying to pass on knowledge I've gained from other career driven professionals to those trying to better themselves or their career.
Pipe Module Lead
Responsible for mechanical assembly of piping modules in a module fabrication yard where Gemini completes the required work prior to each module being sent to the field location where they are set on their respective co-ordinates and tied together to create the facility they are intended for. Duties include but are not limited to planning and scheduling required equipment and manpower to complete each stage of the module as indicated in the assembly plan. Laying out and setting piping spools on the respective co-ordinates and prepping them to be tied in to complete the module. Along with piping the modules include equipment such as vessels, separators, heat exchangers, pumps, etc. This employment opportunity is a great experience and I have had the pleasure of working with great tradesmen/women and also working for a great management team starting with the module yard superintendents and a great assembly "side" lead who has his feet on the ground while overseeing the construction of all mods in the yard in excess of 25 being constructed at one time for multiple projects covering multiple processes and meeting the requirements of several clients and each modules respective codes and standards. With this management it creates a great atmosphere and provides me with the tools required to complete the duties associated with my job title. As an active member in the oil and gas industry this module yard provides me the privilege of being involved in major projects of the province.
