Over my 17 years of Construction Industry experience, I have spent the last 5 years managing Construction projects in local government, where my core focus is providing the community with a safe, sustainable and inviting spaces. Some of these project include DDA compliance works, across a list of government Buildings. Working with the design and Construction team to deliver the Changing Places Facilities in Peter Scullin Reserve Mordialloc. Installation of over 1 megawatt of PV solar systems across various Council locations and many more. In 2019 I was tasked with renewing councils key building maintenance contracts that' involved leading the evaluation team to review serval tender submissions over various disciplinaries including coordinating the collaboration of stakeholders from across the organisation. Most recently I have been appointed as Major Facilities Officer, tasked ensuring the comfort and safety of over 500 staff and tenants within councils 7 story Civic Centre. This diverse role allows me to connect with members of the public and ensuring the required services are provided. This is achieved by monitoring several service contracts, routine maintenance schedules and a crew of devoted staff.
