Reporting to the Sales Director, I was responsible for the introduction of new injection mould tools, appraising tool designs, assessing tooling service requirements, evaluating design modification, implications and cost estimations / reductions whilst maintaining the high standard of tools.I was also responsible for the design, manufacture and validation.

My responsibilities included the running of a small but busy tool room which included manufacture and repair of injection mould tools, design and manufacture of inspection, assembly and test fixtures. I was also involved with projects from concept design, manufacture and approval. I also managed a tool room engineering apprentice.
