I worked within the Investment Advisory team at CBRE Capital Advisors - a FCA regulated unit of CBRE UK that has 10 offices globally and more than 180 executives. CBRE Group Inc.(NYSE: CBG), is the world's largest commercial real estate services firm, with approximately 70,000 employees in more than 400 offices worldwide.My role was to provide strategic advice to a variety of UK and global institutional investors on direct and indirect real estate investments.This includes advice on unlisted funds, joint ventures and real estate debt. I am also responsible for developing the middle office and analytics team.Examples of the deals that I have worked on include: The Glanmore Property Fund – From 2012-2016 I was an advisor to the distressed £400m GAV Deutsche PWM fund between 2002-2016. I was responsible for the refinancing strategy, analysis and reporting. Confidential mandate - I am advising one of the world’s largest pension funds on the deployment of $X billion in global real estate. My role has involved allocation analysis and strategy. King’s Cross Central – My role with Argent has been to advise on the valuation, business planning and unit sales in Argent’s £4bn development in King's Cross, London. Specifically, I created a financial model which underpins the valuation, investor reporting and strategy. Nationwide Pension Fund – I am currently mandated to provide advice on the fund's allocation of capital to residential and commercial ground rents. The fund has successfully sourced and exchanged or completed on over £150m. I am involved in the full cycle of the deal from sourcing assets through to legal due diligence, completion and monitoring. I have market leading expertise in both “short” and “long” portfolios. NTUC – I advised on the potential placement of £100m into the Prologis European Logistics Fund. This included interviewing the fund managers, analysing and critiquing their strategy and advising on alternative options.

I was part of the original team brought in to set up GVA's FCA regulated business.At GVA I specialised in advising mainly public sector clients on UK real estate.Example deals include: Croydon Council – Advised Council on reaching financial close on the UK’s first Local Asset Backed Vehicle (LABV), in partnership with John Laing Plc. Restructured the deal to create a novel approach where the Council acted as a bank. London Development Agency – Advice on the creation of a £30m Venture Capital Fund.

My role here was to provide advisory services utilizing complex financial modelling.Example deals include: Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, NXP – Operational & financial review of a €450m global portfolio. Crown Estate Regent Street - financial model built to enable capital raising as part of a £2bn joint venture with Norges Bank Investment Management. Couer Defense, Paris: Asset management and restructuring of €1.4bn debt. Aerium - €330m French office portfolio sale.

Mapeley are a large former FTSE 250 property outsourcing firm originally backed by Fortress Investment Group, Soros Real Estate Partners and Delancey.My role here involved:- Monthly investor reporting on portfolio performance on both STEPS (Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs) and Abbey contracts (Sale & Leaseback of 569 Freeholds, management of 1,338 Leaseholds properties).- IPO Analysis Mapeley’s IPO in May 2005 & secondary issue in December 2005.- New contract and direct acquisition financial modelling.- Negotiation of new FM contracts.
