Design -Responsible for performing thermal mechanical engineering design to meet customers’ requirement in thermal testing. -Create and review design by using CAD software, develop and build prototypes. -Participated in thermal testing, running test, analyzing data, and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal product performance. -Work with supplier and in house stakeholder to ensure parts can be manufactured in accordance with performance and cost objectives. (new and existing products) -Handle documentation tasks, including create detailed engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), assembly procedures, training manual, and engineering changes. PDM -Design and create automated workflow in PDM for document approval, request for quote, MM creation and design reviews, reducing manual effort and increased efficiency accross departments.- Involved in evaluating the functionality of BOM creation and management software, proposing necessary requirements to vendors and addressing troubleshooting issues. -Provide technical support to all the SolidWorks CAD, SolidWorks Electrical and PDM integration related queries to assist engineer. -Conduct SolidWorks and PDM user trainings
