My main responsibility is plan circa 5000 exams and successfully deliver these various examinations within compliance on behalf of our client Network Rail. These range from simple visual exams to complicated multi-disciplined detailed exams for example, RRV, roped access and confined space work. These are exams are spread over a large geographical area from Kings Cross to Leeds all the way along the eastern side of the country.Ensure all staff are rosted up to 16 weeks out and fully utilized to complete siteworks and report submission.I am responsible for my team’s safety. Therefore, safeguarding all members of the team are fully competent in their set fields is paramount. As well as ensuring all necessary paperwork (Work Package Plans, TBS and Safe System of Work Packs) is taken to site. Random site audits are carried out to ensure the individuals adhere to the company policies. On a daily/weekly basis, confirm the status of each exam and where appropriate mitigate accordingly as to why the exam was not planned as per the programme/baseline. Compile RAG trackers to establish how progress is being made with report submission and report this to my line manager /senior managers. Part of daily/weekly commercial calls and compile date to ensure value is accounted for at CVR.Deputise for the Route Delivery Manager.
