I've been in the building merchant industry for approx 25 years at a couple of different companies. Beasley & fildes, Travis Perkins, and where I am now MKM building supplies. Done almost every job in branch level. Started out on the yard, became a driver, went into sales & now In management. Recently had the opportunity to go back to what I love doing (building sales) really Love the banter you get from day to day interaction with the builders we service with MKM, also mentoring the young talent coming through the system. Worked my way from the bottom up & still, im always looking to learn & to progress even further. Highly motivated & passionate at everything I put my mind to. I was also the head coach at Newton storm u18s Rugby league club. I've been involved with the club for about 15 years as player and coach, and i am very thankful to be able to give back something to the sport I love, and have seen some of my players progress form little 7 year olds to signing pro contracts and a couple of super league clubs.I have recently taken over as head coach for the Salford Red Devils Foundation Disability rugby league teams. (PDRL & LDRL) I stepped into this role only this year, as its gives me more quality time to spend with my son Jake, who has autism, but it gives me a massive sense of well-being, watching the lads & ladies enjoying themselves & keeping active
