I created a website at Therapethical with a fellow colleauge from scratch utilizing Wordpress. Themethodology we used was RAD using the MoSCoW method discussing with the company what they must have, should have, could have and would have. This included us asking what they needed from thewebsite, what kind of funding we needed for specific plugins, how long it'll take to finish certain segmentsof the websites etc.We had a lot of communication with the company mainly discussing about the work we did and givingfeedback to us so we could either improve a specific part or to add more onto a specific page and givethem updates on the timeframe on worked on content.I created most of the pages, designed and created the header for the website taking into accountboth desktop and mobile, utilizing Javascript for certain functions of the website like searching throughtherapists by name & mental illness and having all the related child pages links for a specific topic appearon the side of the topics page to utilize as a navigation menu. I also did research into what plugins & software we would need for the project and then discussing to the company what specific pro versions of the plugins or the software we would need to create the website.We also took courses on Udemy for things that we didn't know a lot about or haven't touched before so for example we took courses on utilizing Wordpress as I've only created websites just using PHP and HTML and not used something like wordpress as a basis and SEO as well learning about search optimization for pages learning what the correct keywords to use, the correct length of content in the page etc.
