I joined the Royal Navy as a Weapon Engineering Artificer Apprentice in 2003. Having completed and achieved an FDEng in Electrical Enginnering through my apprenticeship with the Royal Navy, I have gone on to maintain various Weapon Systems during my career across different types of platforms. This includes Gun Systems including Gun Control Systems, Missile Systems, Navigation Systems, Aviation Landing Systems and Sonar Towed Array Systems as an example. I have also carried out the role as lead Instructor for Explosive Safety and Ammunition Accounting for the Royal Navy, RFA, Royal Marines, Army and Foreign Nationals and Navies during my career. With a vast experience of many Weapon Systems, I am a highly motivated individual who relishes challenges amd problem solving. Having operated in a high tempo environment with strict deadlines, I am fully accustomed to working under pressure and delivering results. I am due to leave the service having served my full 22 year term in Jan 2025 and I am looking for a new and exciting challenge to utilise and enhance my skillset.
