I am an experienced economist, technology strategist, and tactical project manager with a strong background in energy and financial modeling and policy analysis. For over a decade I’ve embraced developing creative solutions to complex issues facing electric utilities, overseeing work across large, multi-disciplinary teams. I am particularly motivated by the challenge of responding to the rapid technological, regulatory, and market changes taking place across the electric and gas industries, as well as evaluating options that improve energy reliability and resiliency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and provide customers with more insight and control over energy consumption and costs. These include technology choices like solar PV, energy storage, renewable fuels like biogas and hydrogen, and vehicle / building electrification; new utility business models and tariffs that support the integration of new and innovative resources; and regulatory vehicles such as decarbonization goals and targets for flexible renewable capacity.
