• Performing hard Facilities Engineering (Building Services Engineering), to maintain the capability of the site services and utilities for the facility, and to manage Facilities and Maintenance activities, and perform maintenance and fault diagnosis on building, plant and production equipment, and to assist/lead the team (Electricians, Fitters, Apprentice and contract personnel) to ensure the most effective use of cost and time.• Working within an engineering team and leading small to medium scale projects, from initial conception through to completion.• Managing assets through inspection, examination and depreciation for all facilities plant and equipment, and identify and realise site cost savings, and upgrade/replacement of equipment to optimise performance and efficiency.• Controlling the site Computerised Management Maintenance System (Planned and Reactive), including allocating and prioritising tasks for the Facilities team.• Budget planning and Capital Expenditure requests.• Control of EHS and Regulatory compliance, including supervision of statutory compliant examinations of site pressure systems, lifting, LEV, fixed electrical and PAT equipment.• Site BMS (Siemens) operator/maintainer, and site Legionella Responsible Person.• Performing change control documentation, report writing and maintaining site files, maintenance logs and records, working in an Operational Excellence environment (Lean/6Sigma).• Control of site service contracts and supervision of contractors on site.• Time spent on secondment to dedicated project teams, placed on short term Dynamic Resource Allocation (DRA) teams and also incorporated a Goal Deployment regime, including a project to transfer an Anaerobic Digester to the Newquay site, including a visit to the manufacturing plant in Ann Arbor, USA.
