About Lee Harbottle

Having completed a National Diploma in Building Studies before starting with Nicholls Colton in 1989. After working on numerous site laboratories including 3 years as a materials engineer on CTRL (Channel Tunnel 350/410) Lee spent 6 years as a project supervisor responsible for carrying out testing on concrete structures. From 2007 to 2023 Lee joined NCA as the GCM Operations Manager responsible for the laboratory and site geotechnical materials testing.In 2023 Lee joined Simtec Materials Testing as part of the Phenna Group buyout and currently manages the laboratories.
