About Lee Harrop
I'm a keen individual who has goals & ambitions. Probably above my station but i believe you have to start somewhere. With 30 years technical & cnc knowledge and background.. I am a quick keen learner with a vivid & good technical mind, having avid knowledge of CNC machines be it lathe, machining centre or router having run & programmed all 3 in various industries involving metals, composite & wood being the most recent over my 30 year period. Scary!! Having met some good friends & characters. Also Picking up quite a good general joinery knowledge & understanding In the past few years. It is different to the metal I did my engineering apprenticeship with in 1994-1998 at Huddersfield tech. I was also the club secretary of Sowerby Bridge working men's club where I managed staff & the club accounts with the help of my treasurer for nearly 12 months .This certainly and completely opened up my eyes when I got elected for this job. It's not all beer & laughs. It's harder work sometimes than a full time job.But also learned me a few things along the way ... Hopefully a new fun and prosperous future beckons.
