I'm a Family Violence Response Coordinator, a role which I've had for 15 years. I work with our staff to support clients who disclose family violence and who require advice, support and referrals to move to lives free from violence. I work closely with a lot of local community agencies and other government departments. Collaboration in this sort of work is vital! I also provide peer support to staff.Prior to this, I had 5 rewarding years with the Taranaki Women's Refuge, where I managed a very successful restructure and implemented a new governance/management team. I am proud that this organisation has continued to go from strength to wonderful strength and is highly regarded in the Taranaki community.Further back than that, my life was as a payroll professional with Methanex, I had a year living in Perth and working for Woodside and several years in finance with Electricorp - lots of variety!Along the way I've formally gained a Diploma in Management, a Diploma in Proofreading and Editing and a weath of other wonderful experiences and skills.
