About Lee Hennig
I have been in funeral service for many years, but writing and freelance journalism for even longer. I majored in History, and learned Russian as a teenager. I lost much of the language, but never lost my love for history and storytelling. I have been featured in Huffington Post online, and in print for Vancouver Sun and The Province. I am currently pursuing my ASL & Deaf Culture accreditation, while working as a full-time Copywriter for a marketing firm. I have been in multiple management positions, and have coordinated emergency responses in high-conflict situations. In all things that I have done and will do, serving the community with integrity and empathy is the most important. My family are my biggest cheerleaders and I would not be half as successful without them.Random fact: I am a musician, and was accepted with 4 others, out of 350 applicants, to the New York All-State Choir. When I was 14, my quartet and I accompanied the Philharmonic Orchestra to perform pieces from Phantom of the Opera. I was the youngest participant in the organization's history.Second fact: I love baseball and routinely go to the batting cages with my best friend.
