With over fifty years of experience in architectural design and construction, Sam Culling and Lee Hepworth established Core Architects. The practice was created from the desire to produce quality in design and to expand upon an already successful and rewarding working relationship. We enjoy what we do and endeavour to continue the spirit and values we have fostered in the formative years at Core Architects.The skill sets and qualifications of staff members are both wide ranging and specialised. A combination of diverse experience, strong technical expertise and broad software competence make us talented in all types and aspects of building design. As such we undertake a full variety of project types and have created highly successful schemes in diverse project sectors.We are passionate about architecture and with every project, regardless of building type or scale; our objective is to create places that are aesthetic and emotive. We are a practice that is both design led and commercially aware. With an appreciation of styles and an informed use of materials, light, scale and technology, we strive to create architecture that is visually appealing, sympathetic and well detailed. The forms of our buildings are guided by the functions to be performed; placing the needs of the end user firmly at the forefront of the design. It is hoped that with our considered approach, we are able to enhance existing places and create beautiful new ones.
