I am an Advanced Nurse Practitioner within a busy ED dept. I am dual qualified holding both a paediatric nursing degree (BSc) and adult nursing diploma (with distinction). I also have a MSc in Advanced Nursing Practice. I am an Advanced Life Support (ALS) & European Paediatric Life Support (EPLS) provider with over 14 years experience in Accident & Emergency medicine the majority of this holding a senior position. I am a non medical prescriber (independently registered with the NMC) therefore fully capable of working as an independent practitioner. I enjoy a variety of work and regularly work ad hoc Locum in primary care surgeries, walk in centres and urgent care centres, I really enjoy work in the community completing home visits. I have experience in products for aesthetic use and since qualifying as an adult nurse I have had a keen interest in dermatology, skin care & aesthetic medicine including advanced beauty products such as non surgical facelifts (PDO threads) Botox, fillers, cryoliposisis, RF skin tightening to name a few, which I continually embrace any opportunity to gain further experience. I am time limited having a young family but looking to the future this is an avenue I am looking forward to expanding.

Responsible for the clinical leadership of the hospital out of hours. Covering all wards within the hospital I was responsible for the prioritisation and organisation of the workloads of all the doctors on call ensuring the patients with the most urgent needs were seen first. I worked closely with the medical registrar directing medical resources where needed. As a pinnacle member of the cardiac arrest team, trauma team and Acute Response Team this job was extremely pressured but also extremely rewarding with an amazing team behind me.
