After steel fabrication and finishing the paint department tends to specific requirements for the product. Shot blast, hand brushed and chemical wipe to get the steel surface pliable and ready for painting. Using an air pressure system to spray a base primer, and then any additional work before it's packaged and shipped out for field construction. Don't forget that we use forced air safety respiration hoods during all prep and prime production so no one passes out from paint fumes! Ventilation and temperature control is highly recommended and important for finishing all paint work, which is monitored daily for quality satisfaction and timely fashion.

Warehouse, stock products with electronic devices to route packages. Place and sort package into proper aisle. Pick bags and stage routes for drivers, communication between associates and management for success of shift. Work with drivers to send out routes, director of traffic flow in lot, check in drivers, check out drivers and replenish routes once drivers vacated spot. Bring empty carts inside and full racks out.

Answer inbound calls, route calls to proper department. Page sales representative, rentals and maintenance when needed. Use tracking system to plan taxi service to/from dealership for customers. Use chat interface to keep better notes and updates for maintenance. Any customer relations concerns are sent to immediate supervisor. Divert calls for general manager unless call is expected.

Bookstore Clerk, helping students find books for the semester and resale. Stock shelves appropriately per course and class/teachers. RTS is a growing company that recycles shingles and processes the material to extract and re-use assphalt. During peak operations I run and use a skidloader to collect and distribute the shingles into a conveyor machine called "rotochopper" which is the first step in the recovery process. The next step is to sort the ground shingles into a conveyor system which ships the product into extractors and uses a volatile and combustible chemical to strip the asphalt. The solids material like calcium carbonate is evacuated and shipped to a different area and building called "solids" and the asphalt that is stripped is sent to tanks for storage and distribution. The concept of recycling is old but the extraction process to make shingles is new, and RTS has the patent. My next position will be in Solids, then Extraction, and from there... whatever position is open/needed. It can be a quick ladder if your good at what you do!
