CurrentLobbyist, Attorney, Government Relations, Administrative Regulations, Government Affairs, Local Government, State Government, Administrative Law, Legislative Drafting, Lobbying-I represent Florida Crystals before the Legislature, Executive Branch, South Florida Water Management District, and other governmental entities.-I educate and inform legislators, legislative and committee staff, and regulators about the business and the impact of legislation and regulatory proposals. I analyze, draft and review bills, amendments and proposed regulations on all issues pertinent to the success of the business, including, agriculture, energy, safety, legal issues, local government issues, workforce, administrative procedures, tax, transportation, environment, permitting, budget, and trade secrets, and work with DC teams on federal regulatory and legislative issues.-I work cross-functionally across the business to understand business issues and strategy, balance competing needs, and help develop policy and long-term and annual legislative and regulatory programs.-I work with allies, coalitions, and stakeholders to implement strategies and legislative and regulatory programs.-I work to pass critical bills, stop adverse bills, and revise bills to avoid unintended consequences.-I collaborate extensively with legal, corporate, and public affairs teams to navigate complex and controversial public affairs and state and local government issues.
