I am an employment taxes and Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) specialist and the national lead on CIS at RSM. I work across all sectors with over 25 years of experience of working in tax. I've specialised in employment taxes since 2007. I am an Employer Solutions Director at RSM, working with a broad range of clients of all sizes, from many different sectors and industries, and a member of RSM's People Advisory Services team. What do I do? I help employers ensure compliance, manage risk, introduce efficiencies, and deal with HM Revenue & Customs, in relation to employment taxes. Sometimes I can help employers save money too!I also help businesses and organisations incurring construction expenditure navigate the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), a reporting and (potential) tax withholding scheme which can apply to construction expenditure and certainly to more than just construction businesses. What motivates me? I am motivated by challenging work, working in a great team at RSM, and helping my clients find practical and commercial answers to often complex tax questions and challenges.
