FlexShopper, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of FlexShopper, Inc. (OTC:FPAY) is a financial and technology company that provides the technology for retailers and etailers to enter into lease to own (LTO) transactions with consumers that want to obtain durable goods, but do not have sufficient cash or credit. FlexShopper also funds the LTO transactions by paying merchants for the goods and collecting from consumers under an LTO contract. Payment Method: The Company has also developed a patent pending LTO payment method technology that automates LTO transactions at check out on e-commerce sites. Aaron's made these for the 700 franchise stores as well and made enough profit from these calls to cover the costs for the 1,150 company stores. Managed the engineering, vendor selection and installation of a multi-route data network between primary and secondary data centers.Designed a secure broadband based network utilizing SonicWALL devices for a 1,800+ location retailer. Also managed the RFP and implementation processes.Contracted with and moved 8,000+ voice land lines away from a traditional Bell company to a reseller and saved over $100K per year in recurring charges.Built a scalable infrastructure that supported unprecedented store growth from 400 to 1850 stores during my tenure and revenues grew from $500 million annually to $2.6 billion.Strictly managed costs to drive IT spend down from 1.5% of revenue in 1999 to 0.59% in 2009. Managed a staff of 120 with a $15 million annual budget.Standardized architecture exclusively on Intel servers, Microsoft operating systems and SQL server to achieve these world class cost levels. The system had 3,000 simultaneous users and produced monthly bills for 8 million customers. Data was stored in DB2 on an IBM mainframe and used a C++ application on Windows NT workstations. Reporting was done from an Oracle database on HP-UX. Merged 6 distinct IT departments into one organization that provided all end user support to 20,000 employees. Managed over 400 employees and contractors in 4 states. Included combining 3 separate help desks into a single IT Call Center. Managed an annual budget in excess of $100 million.
