I was 15 years old when I left home I hit the pavement of the Fortitude Valley in Brisbane, I knocked on doors, pub doors just a kid looking for work, prepared to take a chance, take a risk, have a go. I lived with the drunks in old run down pubs crawling with enormous cockroaches and tiny mice happy to chew holes in my back pack, I lived in Women's hostels with Psychotics and Schizophrenics, I lived in the homes of recently arrived Vietnamese boat people, I share housed with bikers and street kids. I often give thanks for the many valuable lessons learned during those eventful years. But most fortunately for me I learnt compassion from those escaping political oppression and corruption, I learnt loyalty from the bikers that got me to work on time, I learnt that I was fortunate to be blessed with a mind that while immature could reason and function normally. I learnt that often when presented with opportunity some will see the potential to learn and search to find the good in others, while some decide a different path. I began my Real Estate Career in 1996 and rose to become classed within the top 2% of real estate earners in the country. I have worked with and been coached by some of Australia’s best Real Estate Practitioner’s and in my opinion the best professional Real Estate coaches in the business world today, Tom Hopkins, David Knox, Bob Wolf, Lillian Montalto, Dr Fred Grosse, Anthony Robbins, Peter Gilchrist, John McGrath and my favourite Lee Woodward. I am now the very proud Founder of Maher Property Group situated within the shire of Byron Bay New South Wales and London United Kingdom.
